  • The Eureka Disc Golf course is kept up by the California parks department. Check out parinfinity.org for more info on the course. 9 holes (some with "B" locations as well), all with chain baskets, not very playable in winter rain. AKA "Poopers" Gulch, because several streets run rainwater into the area.
  • Actually, it's called "Poopers Gulch" because of all the human fecal matter you step in if you try to retrieve your disc from the bushes. In a semi-related story I once hit some nude sunbathers with my disc off hole nine. What fun.
  • I remember all the trash from the homeless people that lived in those bushes. I have to say Eureka had the most homeless I've seen for a town its size.
