The ghost town of a formerly major fishing harbor, industrial port, and Coast Guard station, it still has a small harbor, boat ramp, and a logging terminal. This is the closest actual town to College of the Redwoods, and has a small convenience store, motel, restaurant, (new management will reopen it soon), seasonal crab sales booth, and available industrial space.
