Rio Tinto Energy's Antelope Mine is a surface coal mine, situated in Wyoming's portion of the Powder River Basin. Coal from this mine is transported by BNSF Railway and Union Pacific Railroad to customers throughout North America. During 2007, production from the Antelope Mine amounted to 34,474,682 tons, the 5th highest among coal mines in the United States.
