Site of burned and blackend rocks and small hole or vent that is of unknown depth. Sulphur smell permiates area and vegetation sparse in an area approximatly 30 feet in diameter around vent. Large cracks or fissures also numerous. Very difficult to locate as terrain is swampy and heavily forested.

  • is the actual "volcano" located at these coordinates?
  • Worked for St Joe Paper in mid 70's. Came across site while cruising timber and this was general area. Very unusual.
