Once known as Riverside Park, it was renamed "Kantor" park in honor of Matthew Kantor who gave his life serving our country. With three large fields, one made of Astro turf and lited, it is biggest of the five Long Hill Township public parks. In 2008, the first annual "Community Day" was held at the park. In 2009, a township resolution was passed formally establishing the yearly Community event.
The 23 acre Park is bordered on the south by the Passaic River. It has two soccer fields, a basketball court and tennis courts. Bocce ball and horseshoes are also played here.
