Old Studebaker Assembly Plant. The last plant they kept in operation closed after the 1966 model year.

Part of the plant was used by Rheem Canada Ltd as a distribution centre for water heaters, while the plant offices on south side of Ferrie Street was a community health centre and medical clinic.

As of 2014, all the buildings have been demolished except for the Old Otis Elevator/ Studebaker (and Allan Candy) plant on the southwest corner which will be remodeled into offices. The whole site will soon be redeveloped into light commercial office spaces. The east end of the site will be a large park, with a small playground area already completed.
