Al-Shaddadi (Syriac: ܫܕܐܕܝ, Arabic: الشدادي; In Kurdish: Şedade) is a town in southern Al-Hasakah Governorate, northeastern Syria, in the banks of Khabour river. At the 2004 census, al-Shaddadah had a population of 15,806,mostly Arabs. Center of the Shaddadih subdistrict of Hasaka district of Hasaka governorate.
