Erbil, Erbil (classical Arabic) or Holler (Kurdish: Hewlêr هولێر, Syriac: ܐܪܒܝܠ) is the center of Erbil province and the capital of the Kurdistan region of Iraq. It is the fourth largest city in terms of area in Iraq after Baghdad, Basra and Mosul and sixth in population. It is about 360 km from Baghdad. Now, the Kurds are in addition to other minorities such as Turkmen, Arabs and Assyrians.
