Originally opened in 1962 by F. Jos. Lamb Co. to manufacture welding equipment, the corporate name was changed to Lamb Technicon in 1982. In 1987 it was sold to Litton Industries and in 1998 it was sold again to Unova. With a declining market for its products Unova sold its Cincinnati Lamb division to MAG Group in 2005 for less than they paid for it eight years earlier. Shortly thereafter the Windsor plant was closed.
