Khalid Khan ended as runner up with 7463 votes in the by elections 2008 PF-20 constituency amid reports of massive rigging by the ruling coalition of PPP and ANP. He won the six union councils out of nine with considerable lead, but the lead was turned into defeat by massive rigging in the TANGI UNION COUNCIL.
