150 ac. BP Windsor Storage Terminal is an integrated modern liquified petroleum (LPG) storage facility. The terminal consists of nine underground storage caverns in a salt bed 1200 - 1500 feet below the surface, five brine ponds and Cochin pipeline metering and pumping station.

Established in 1973 by Dome Petroleum to store propane, in 1988 it was sold to Amoco and was subsequently acquired by BP when BP merged with Amoco in 1998. It is presently operated for bi-directional batching of propane and butane to and from the US market. The terminal delivers batches of LPGs to BP's Sarnia facility by means of BP's Eastern Delivery Pipeline (EDS) and receives other LPGs from BP's Sarnia Fractionation facility. It is also connected to Michigan by Cochin owned pipeline under the Detroit River.
