Small pavilion with tablets and markers explaining troop movements during the Battle of Peachtree Creek of the Atlanta Campaign in 1864. Much of the heaviest fighting took place in and around the valley occupied by today's Tanyard Creek Park. Some records indicate that this pavilion was part of a series commemorating the Atlanta Campaign erected by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in the 1930s. Other accounts suggest differently.
