Ansley Park was the first surburban neighborhood in Atlanta, and is an up-scale area of atlanta. The Houses are fairly big, and range from $600,000 - $3 million. The park is very zoned and heavy restrictions are placed on commercial buildings, tree removal, and thru traffic. Ansley golf club is the local country club, and has a pool, and golf course. Ansley Park is about 5-10 minutes driving time from downtown Atlanta, and there is a nice shopping center called Ansley Mall within walking distance of the neighborhood. It is a very wooded area, however houses are packed very close together. Ansley Park is an appealing neighborhood in Atlanta for both it's security, location, and trees.
