  • Great stop for a day trip when visiting the Smokies. Pack some drinks and snacks in the car as you're pretty far from civilization. The trail is split in two sections the lower trail is pretty easy, the upper trail is somewhat more demanding, but not bad at all. The largest tulip poplar trees are on the upper section. Picnic tables and privy at the parking lot. Beautiful spot and well worth the trip off the beaten path.
