Originally built in 1926 as The Stanhope Hotel, designed by Rosario Candela. A 16-story building at 995 Fifth Avenue across from Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. One of the Upper East Side's most luxurious hotels until it was converted to a residential co-op in 2005 with 27 units.
