Built for Arthur Scott Burden{Burden Iron Works} Main house demolished in 1960 designed by John Russell Pope{Caumsett, Spring Hill} c. 1915. Burden died in 1921 while playing polo on his estate. Burdens wife Cynthia{family ties to Princess Di.}later remarried Guy Cary{attorney} and they renamed estate Oak Hill.
