Munnur Church was built in 1907. It begot so many sons and daughters for the church. It is the duty of the believers to thank the Lord for His abundant graces that He showered on this parish.

So with help of the German Benefactors, the Archdocese of Pondicherry and Cuddalore and local contriburion of the people the renovation work for the ancient parish church was done.

His Grace Most,Rev.Dr. Antony Anandarayer, the Archbishop of Pondicherry and Cuddlore came over the celebration and blessed the renovated parish church on 18 February 2007 at 6 PM. When more than 2000 people and 30 priests gathered around the alter of God, His grace celebrated the High mass. After the mass His grace opened the

photo of Father Felix Clement MEP, the pioneer of Christian community and architect of the Church. He also released the CD of the parish History.

People were overwhelmed with joys and graces. The function ended with cultural programs of the Children.
