  • Here we have a subdivision with stately homes but lots that belong in a trailer park. These homes belong on a long driveway with acreage so the beauty of the homes can be appreciated. No.........these are crammed in and have barely enough room for a car to be parked bewteen the garage and the sidewalk. Nothing like looking at the neighbors home a mere 12 feet away (or less). Now here is the bad part..............the entrance is shared by Sam's Club !! Along with two dozen other small business's like mattress stores and sandwich joints. Then there is the noise. Bordering the interstate and a rest area with idling tractor - trailer rigs, this is noisy and diesel smelling. Its almost surreal to live here. The appearance of wooded and expensive sub gives way real quick to a crowded and loud subdivision with repossessions gaining numbers every month.
  • Wow now that Steve has gone to town on negative. Here are the positives: Sams club with a gas station and a pharmacy, nice sandwich shops, neighbors close enough that you can talk to. Yes visiting neighbors is a good thing. Also there is a nature trail, too short IMHO but better than nothing. A very nice set of pools at the club house, 4 (kiddie pool, splash pool (water shooting around), resort style, olympic with a 3 turn spirl slide. One of the best features is that many, not all, areas have parks in the neighborhood. In addition the elementary school in the middle.
  • Steve's negatives are all true, and Mike's positives are also. If you focus only on the negative, or only on the positive, you get a skewed view. Blend them and you are closer to the truth. One positive that Mike did not mention is the location. Just north of the 75/275 split, it is supremely easy to get down either side of Tampa, depending on your destination. Beyond that, many restaurants and shopping options are within an easy drive. If you are looking for this sort of suburban, planned neighborhood kind of environment, you could do a whole lot worse than Seven Oaks. (I only wish the people around here were able to grasp the concept of a traffic circle!)
