This is quite an unusual restaurant in that it isn't a noodle place with the odd sushi dish on the side - it really does specialise exclusively in sushi! Ukai is a smart sushi restaurant, which originated in 2006 in Portobello Road, and became so poplar that it almost immediately opened another branch in nearby Westbourne Grove. Lavender Hill is the third branch, opening in November 2008.
