Formerly the site of the American Bank building erected c. 1920, this building has since been renovated to become nearly 200 apartments. The company handling the rentals, Florida-based Reliance Housing, is a non-profit group focused on providing affordable housing across the country. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its ornate former banking hall is vacant for the time being.
