  • The "Hasenheide", as it is called by locals is a large park on the border of the two districts Kreuzberg and Neukölln. The park is used by recreation seekers, joggers and pick nickers (especially in the summer - of course). On nice weekend afternoons, you can see the whole multicultural spectrum of Kreuzberg/Neukölln, with gigantic turkish and arbab family barbecues, kids playing soccer and the local grannies walking their poodles. Among Berliners, the Hasenheide is also known as a questionable place to buy drugs from the various dealers who hide in the brush. Most of them are nice people, but it still may not be a good idea to go "shopping" alone at night ...
