The West of the building provides and example of original Gothic architecture dating to the 12th Century. The East end and tower date to the late 19th and early 20th Centuries and are examples Gothic Revival architecture. The famous Paisley Abbey Choir also perform here at services led by Dr George McPhee. The spire is 46m tall.
