The Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer (Latin: Filii Sanctissimi Redemptoris, Latin siglum: F.SS.R.), formerly the Transalpine Redemptorists, are a religious order based on Papa Stronsay in the Orkney Islands, Scotland.
Their rule is based on that of St. Alphonsus Liguori, although they have no formal connection to the Redemptorist order.
It currently has eighteen monks with diverse international backgrounds.
The ancient monastic ruins dating back to the 7th and 8th centuries mark Papa Stronsay as a holy island and inspired the Redemptorist monks living there now to continue with the traditions of the Catholic Church and the traditional Redemptorist Order, as well as to rebuild the ruins.
