Castle Swan Hill

A Historical Building registered with the Minnesota Historical Society.

Three structures, one is a Barn, another a shed/chicken coop, and a third a water trough/windmill all built out of field stones and cement. Construction began in 1923 and finished in 1936. The structures still stand today.

  • My Great Grandfather, Grandfather, and Great Uncle built this stone barn. Being it is registered with the Historical Society, I thought it may be worth including here.
  • Awesome structure. Well worth seeing.
  • Unfortunately only the barn remains. The two other structures have been knocked down and barn has been boarded up. Sad stuff!
