The Pukjung Machine Complex began as a small factory producing farming and mining machines and vehicles. It is currently a large industrial facility whose current output is unknown, despite accounting for nearly 1/4 of machine production in the heavy industry hotbed North Phyongan Province. It most likely produces mining machinery, construction equipment and small fleet vehicles for agriculture and mining.
