The Jesse H. Jones Building is the Central Library for the Houston Public Library system. Located at 500 McKinney Street in Downtown Houston, the building was designed by Seth Irvin Morris and originally opened in 1976.
The Jones Building closed for renovations on Monday April 3, 2006 and reopened May 31, 2008. HPL's administrative offices were moved to the Marston Building that same year.
