The Faculty Annex opened in 1970 to provide office space for faculty members displaced by the fire that destroyed Normal Hall in 1969. Faculty of the English and theatre arts department were located in the Annex until the 1994-95 academic year when they relocated to Centennial Hall. The building currently houses the campus radio station, the children's theater, faculty offices, and offices for the student newspaper. A writing laboratory was recently added to this facility.
