The cemetery contained only Second World War graves until in 1974, the closure of Braila (St. Constantine) Protestant Cemetery made necessary the transfer of six First World War naval graves. In addition, there is a special memorial to one Indian soldier of the First World War buried in Bucharest German Protestant Cemetery, whose grave is lost.
