Formerly Hopewell High School Complex:
Historic high school complex listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Tudor Revival-style main school building was constructed in 1925. Other contributing structures to the property are the clubhouse (located behind the main building) as well as three buildings located across North 12th Avenue from the school (from south to north): the science & library building, the gymnasium, and the home economics cottage. The adjacent Merner Field is also part of the complex. The school became James E. Mallonee Middle School after a new high school was built, but is now vacant.
