This is the actual 'Percebu', at the mouth of Laguna Percebu (Estero Percebu on the topo map). It is located opposite the north tip of 'Shell island'.

  • Yes, you can visit this place. We just did. It's an RV camp ground with bathroom/shower facilities (cold water only), a restaurant and a bar. We tent camped, and we and another US family with an RV who stays every winter were the only ones there for the days leading up to Christmas 2013. it's beautiful, deserted (at least when we were there), fabulous beach combing for gorgeous shells. The bummer about the winter season is that it could be very windy. It didn't really let up while we were there for 3 nights. It's still a great place.
