Historic luxury hotel structure designed c. 1903 by G.W. & W.D. Hewitt with metalwork by the Winsow Bros. Company as The Bellevue-Stratford. In 1976, the infamous Legionnaire's Disease outbreak occurred at the hotel, claiming the lives of 25 American Legion members and hospitalizing about 130 more.

Converted in the 1980s to a mixed-use complex with retail on the lower levels and office, while the top seven floors are still operated as a hotel, The Bellevue Hotel.
