5-story residential building originally completed in 1862 as one in a row of six similar Italianate-style dwellings. The house's facade received extensive alterations on several occasions. Its stoop was removed in the early twentieth century and its facade was rebuilt at mid-century, possibly in conjunction with a major interior alteration in 1953. In 1999, Post-Modem-style alterations, consisting of the installation of shallow pediments over the main door, 2nd- and 4th-story windows, and the roof parapet, were made by architect Joseph Pell Lombardi for owner Osnat Weiss.

The facade is faced in white cement stucco, with the entrance on the left, down a couple of steps from the sidewalk. It has a black metal-and-glass door and sidelight, to the right of which are two windows with iron grilles, behind planters and an iron fence. A crown molding at the top of the ground floor is peaked at both ends.

The upper floors are set off by a band of greenery, and have single-windows on the left, and double-windows on the right, with projecting window surrounds, peaked at the 2nd floor. Air-conditioning vents are cut below the windows on the upper three floors. The facade is crowned by a simple molded roof cornice with central gable.
