Midtown Convention Center Hotel

USA / New Jersey / West New York / West 38th Street, 522

11-story modernist hotel completed in 2001 as a Best Western hotel. It is clad in pale orange and yellow brick, with an entry portico of bronze-colored metal and glass extending out from the center of the ground floor. It has three doors on the left, and an angled door on the right, all set under a canopy that extends a bit farther out. On either side is a brick wall with stone coping, the eastern one with a metal gate.

The upper floors have four bays of widely-spaced single-windows with stone sills and air-conditioning vents below them. The two middle bays set back above the 10th floor. There are no windows on the east and west facades, but the 2-toned color pattern of the brick continues.

The hotel changed names from Best Western to The Magnuson in 2015, and then the Midtown in 2018. The hotel contains 83 guest rooms.
