5-story Second Empire-style residential building originally completed in 1865. It is clad in light-colored brownstone, with a plate-glass storefront added to the former basement level, framed at top and bottom by black-painted brick. The storefront has a glass door on the right, with a rounded, black canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk. A metal-framed glass door on the left, down a few steps from the sidewalk, accesses the upper floors.

At the 2nd floor, the original arched parlor-floor entrance on the left is replaced by a window and fanlight. To the right are two tall single-windows. The 3rd & 4th floors have three bays of single-windows, and all have brownstone surrounds in matching color, with bracketed sills and molded lintels. The 5th floor retains its steep-sloped slate mansard roof, with two dormer windows having curved lintels. The ground floor is occupied by Dunhuang restaurant.
