 restaurant, bar, apartment building

5-story residential building originally completed as two separate structures in the 1870s, but joined in 1924 when a 2-story commercial storefront was constructed, linking the facades. The storefront is faced in paneled wood, metal and glass, painted green with black and gold trim. The 2nd floor has large French doors between signboards, and the two halves are separated by a center panel with a projecting sign mounted to the wall.

The upper floors retain their varied designs. The eastern facade, at No. 140, is clad in reddish-brown brick. It has three bays of windows, with a larger center window on each floor that has a wrought-iron Juliet balcony. The windows have brick sills and lintel courses. This facade is topped by a brick parapet that is stepped up at the ends and peaked in the middle, with the upper part painted grey. The western facade, at No. 142, is clad in tan brick, with triple-windows separated by black iron mullions on the 3rd & 4th floors; these have stone sills. The top floor, with a stone sill course, has three round-arched windows with metal railings at their bottom halves. A pair of rosettes adorns the facade between the upper parts of the arches. A stone frieze and small, sloping, shingle roof tops this facade.

The 2-story storefront is occupied by Prime Catch seafood restaurant.
