Residence designed c. 1893 by William B. Tubby for Charles M. Pratt. Pratt also lived at "Seamoor" in Glen Cove on Long Island. Portions of the interior or its furniture was sourced from Irving & Casson - A. H. Davenport Co.

It is now the home of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Brooklyn.
