Piccadilly (York)
The Piccadilly is a street in York which leads from the Pavement down to the city walls. It did not exist during Viking times, its name comes from a type of collar popular around the 16th/17th century. There are other streets called Piccadilly in other cities, e.g. London and Manchester.
