Downhill side
Mexican Highway 2 - In spite of improvements this descent is steep and dangerous. Warning signs and road markings are placed before some of the more hazardous curves. Rest stops and truck pull-offs are freqauent. Even so on the Google Maps update as of 2013 two trucks are seen together, one of them jack-knifed off onto the soft shoulder of the road near the bottom of the grade.
