This is a complex urban interchange between Interstate 95 and U.S. Route 460 Business (Washington Street and Wythe Street) in Petersburg, Virginia. It is connected to two additional interchanges to the south by collector-distributor roads (making it a four interchange complex). Washington Street and Wythe Street are a pair of one-way streets carrying US-460 Business. The interchange is essentially a pair of overlapping diamond interchanges, which serves both streets without loop ramps or at-grade crossing movements. The overlapping diamond ramps are braided (grade-separated from each other) and so is an additional ramp from northbound I-95 to Bank Street (southbound US-301). The ramp terminals from southbound I-95 to Wythe Street is signalized to avoid weaving conflicts, but the other ramp terminals are stop or yield controlled. The interchange approaches are further complicated by Interstate 85's northern terminus just to the south. The interchange is numbered Exit 52 on southbound I-95, Exit 50D on northbound I-95, and Exit 69 on northbound I-85. The ramp from northbound I-95 to southbound US-301 (Bank Street) is Exit 52 as well.
