One of the many great tourist attractions of Tucson. I mean, who wouldn't travel thousands of miles to see a... foot bridge that leads to no where. One of the worst wastes of tax payers money.

Footbridge to nowhere? Get a clue. I use it all the time as part of the Aviation Way bike path. Once the other bridge (across Euclid) is finished, this will be a very convenient way to get downtown from the eastside via bike.

Wish I had known it was there when I passed through Tucson in Summer of '09... I would have checked it out! I love this kind of stuff!! True Americana.

Its just below rio nuevo in stupidity. Cost two and a half million and they want 200 thousand to paint it. Driving under it every wednesday for a year, I saw 5 people on it.

I use this bridge all the time. Do you really want a bunch of cyclists pooling up at the intersection of Broadway and Aviation on your way into downtown?

A beautiful addition to Tucson. My sister from a large eastern city thought it was a great experience to walk across it, hear the rattle and send photos of the bridge back to shivering relatives. I've also crossed it many times on foot and bike. How often do you get public art, a safe crossing of a major thoroughfare, whimsy and a tourist attraction in one project? Detractors can move to Phoenix and rub elbows with conservative naysayers.
