The Country Club Crest (aka: The Crest; Cuddiville), is the official name now. It was Floyd Terrace and they built the houses and became the Country Club. It was a nice area to live in once. Six Flags Marine World’s been tryin to buy the Crest out for the last 15 years.

  • Country Club Crest was never Floyd Terrance. The CCC neighborhood was built in 1956 and many black families that lived in Floyd Terrance purchased their first Brand new home in country Club Crest. At that time homes sold for a starting price as low as $12,000.

  • My Family had One of the First Houses that was Built in the CCC right on Gateway drive, when there was only 2 ways inside the Crest , either U came down Gateway or the street right down from Gateway, those were the only 2 ways in an out of the Crest back in the 1950 - 1970's.
  • as a Youth in the Early 1970's, me an My Sister would walk straight up Gateway drive to the Park at the Top of the Hill inside the Crest an eat Free Lunch during the Summers. the Country Club Crest had their Own Summer Program where the Adults would Feed All the Neighborhood Youth during the Summers of the 1970's
  • I remembered when it SNOWED in the Crest for the very First Time around 1976. All Us Crest Kids was Out in the Snow having Fun it Never Snows in Vallejo California
  • the Reason that Our Neighborhood was Named the Country Club Crest, We Lived right Across the Street from a Lake right next to the Fair Grounds. the Country Club Crest is a VERY SMALL Neighborhood if U were Traveling North on i - 80 all U have to do is Look to your Left as U are Leaving Vallejo , its the Last Neighborhood in Vallejo that U can See from the Freeway, if U were traveling South U would Look to the Right as U are entering Vallejo, it is the First Neighborhood that U see from the Freeway as U enter Vallejo
