Burica Peninsula

Peninsula along the Panamanian Isthmus which forms the border between Costa Rica ans Panama. It contains remnants of the lowland Pacific Rainforest, holding the highly threatened Ward's Trogon.

Puerto Armuelles is the largest town on the Peninsula. A rough track leads from there to the tip (Punta Burica).
