Ross Park Mall opened in 1986, and has been the primary shopping destination for Pittsburgh's northern suburbs for over 20 years. Since having its interior renovated in 2000, the mall has gradually moved upmarket, and with the opening of such upscale retailers as Nordstrom, Louis Vuitton and Burberry among many others, it has become a regional shopping destination for the entire Pittsburgh area, much of western Pennsylvania, and adjacent portions of Ohio and West Virginia. A new exterior addition has also been built on the west side of the mall, containing Tiffany & Co., L.L. Bean and the Cheesecake Factory.
