Golitha Falls refers to an area of ancient woodlands that sit alongside the river Fowey as it cascades it’s way through a steep valley gorge. The falls are situated to the north of Bodmin Moor in an extremely attractive setting. The water cascades for over 800 yards. The name is pronounced 'Goleetha' which is derived from the Cornish word for 'obstruction'.
