A former White County school site. Dibrell Normal School was housed in an impressive brick structure and named for General G.G. Dibrell, a donor to the school. It opened in 1887 but closed soon after in 1891.
It was sometimes called Dibrell Institute. Nourse Seminary operated on this same site between 1850 and at least 1882.
