MIT's second oldest dormitory (after Senior Haus), and the one that spawned much of MIT culture. Officially called the Alumni Memorial Houses, but not even the MIT administration uses that name. Students used to refer to it as "the '93 dorms", since it was funded by the class of 1893; nowadays, a popular name is "Fred the Dorm". First occupied 1931.
