Miami's first Cuban Consulate, built in 1925. Villa Paula is said to be haunted by Paula, the namesake of the magnificent house and the wife of Senior Don Domingo Milord, the first Consul. The strong smell of cuban coffee emanates from the kitchen, the bedroom door will often slam shut, and three of the last occupants cats were killed by a slamming gate.
