Saint Michael's Monastery (Pobeda)

Saint Michael's Monastery is located on the outskirts of the old Point Victory Gardens. It was founded in 1877 and is one of the largest monastery in the North Caucasus. In 1928 the monastery was closed, all the temples and most of the buildings - blown up and dismantled brick. Only refectory Trinity church and several residential and business buildings. In 1972 the territory of the former monastery is organized campsite "Romantic." In 2001, the Russian Orthodox Church returned to the church building and began the revival of the monastery.

Among the local sights - the source of the Holy Fiziabgo. From the top of the mountain panorama opens monastic surroundings.

On the road to the Holy source can descend to the Monastery Cave, holes in the dense sandstones first monk-hermit before founding of the monastery. A long narrow corridor leads to dome-shaped room, from which different parties disagree few moves. The length of the caves does not exceed 200 m.

For the monastery in the valley. Fars has an extensive field with a monastery ponds. These monks breed the fish, but on the fields cultivated vegetables and grapes. East of the field in the upper Farsi is a deep canyon with four picturesque waterfalls. Under the cliff canyon hidden dark caves and caverns.
