Bac Fortress (Bač)

The oldest fortress in Vojvodina, was built between 1338-1342 by a Hungarian King (however, there has been a fortress on the site since Roman times). It used to be on an island of the Mostonga river. The fortress was destroyed during the Rakotzy Uprising (1702-1704).
