park, river, interesting place
The overlook at Goosenecks State Park offers a spectacular view down 1,000 feet into an entrenched meander created by the silt-laden San Juan River. The Goosenecks of the San Juan weave back and forth, flowing more than five miles while progressing only one linear mile as the river flows westward to Lake Powell.
